Sandra lived every bit of her 81 years to the fullest. She was an athlete for most of her life, playing basketball in high school, baseball, and was a phenomenal golfer. She was even asked to join the senior women’s tour. Unfortunately, she broke her hip, ironically on the golf course, and was unable to live out that dream. Sandra was a two-time cancer survivor and never once complained, no matter what trials life threw at her. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her final selfless desire was to gift her body to research. She will forever be remembered by her family and friends for her outgoing, ‘get it done’ attitude, and never looking back.
