A Women of Opulence: it has been often said that God cultivates a heart of beauty in those who are called HIS own. Out of the abundance of the heart, we spill forward into the lives of others. Such was the case when the Lord designed that the late JL Booker and Zenobia L. Booker would birth two beautiful daughters one the 21st day of August 1965.

I give thanks to HIM who has granted me the strength and made me able for this, Christ Jesus our Lord, because HE has judged and counted me faithful and trustworthy, appointing me to this ministry.

Lisa Tyler was esteemed as a child of God. She was bread, spanked, and buttered at Wheat Street Baptist; being baptized while under the divine order of God Almighty and the late Rev. William Holmes Borders, Senior. With the guidance of the Lord and her parents, she began laboring in the vineyard at the tender age of six. Actively her stewardship manifested as a Junior Usher, Chanter, Sign Language Interpreter, Uplifter’s Club, Borders Courtesy Guild, and Wheat Street Charitable Foundation Board Member.

God already predestined HIS walk with her, but this was not evident until she served, advised, and instructed various ministerial auxiliaries with Mt. Carmel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Timothy Flemming.

Raised with a strong church influence and a tremendous love for God she was ordained into the ministry under the tutelage of the late Bishop Quincy L. Carswell of Covenant Ministries International on October 27, 2002. Because of her commitment to the kingdom of God on March 2, 2003 she was elevated as an Elder. Currently, she served on the ministerial staff at Siloam Church International encouraging others to reach their highest potential in Christ. Elder Lisa was the founder and CEO of Lifting Minds Ministry.

She has obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Clark Atlanta University (Atlanta, GA) and HIS Masters of Arts in Ministry from Luther Rice Seminary (Lithonia, GA).

While her accomplishments are commendable, it is important to note her strong missionary role shepherding a-meal-and-a-message to the homeless. Lisa is fueled by passion to fulfill God’s mandate for various spiritual platforms including New Members-New Believer’s Empowerment Classes; co-labors with Hillside Enrichment Bible Study Team; and Women Impacting a Nation (WIN). In addition, she also aids such worthy organizations as the Georgia Cancer Center of Excellence. Mrs. Adrienne C. Tyler was employed by The Grady Health system for over 30 plus years until her health declined in 2019.

As an insightful speaker, her greatest passion was writing inspirational thoughts from the heart and sharing them with any hungry soul especially in their time of need. Her daily objective in prayer was to be honest and industrious so she may never shirk her duties as the Lord uses her in a mighty and righteous way.

Lisa was happily married to Billy Tyler, Jr. who diligently supported her ministerial endeavors in every facet. She certainly knew how to relax and unwind from a busy day by spending time with her two furry four-legged children, Boss and Pearl. In due time our tears will be replaced with treasures of Lisa’s sweet voice and memories. There is no blueprint to help me deal with the stress and pain of this profound effect of missing my identical twin sister daily. Lisa was a kindhearted minister, a prayer warrior, an advocate for the less, the lost, and the left out. Most of all an ambassador for Christ. Lisa specialized in doing thoughtful things for others and putting them first. Lisa was never looking for credit by man but to be a kingdom addict. You truly were a blessing to all you influenced.

Elder Lisa Tyler leaves her cherished memories to her husband Bily Tyler Jr., twin sister AC Booker, (niece) Naya Higgins, (nephew) Nicolos Higgins and a host of other church family and friends. Rest well thy good and FAITHFUL servant of God-my endless love. With Our Deepest Sympathy,The Booker & Tyler Empire
