Dale R. Johnson, a MedCure Whole Body Donor

Dale Ryan Johnson, 61, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, September 8 at home, surrounded by family. He is survived by his loving children Amanda Bond (Jeremy) and Levi Johnson, his mother Joann Gross (Gene), sister Rita Singleton (Eddy), and brother David Johnson (Debbie), along with countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dale was born on October 9th, 1958 to Bill and Joann Johnson. He attended Kendrick High School. He served in the US Navy after completing high school and marrying his sweetheart Faye. Later, he worked as a machinist in a variety of industries.

Anyone that knew Dale knew that he was a simple, practical man. He loved fishing, riding his motorcycle, working in the yard, and camping at Blanton Creek. He was an avid reader, often finishing 3 or 4 full length novels in less than a week. Above all else, he loved his family and his little doggie Paco. Dale especially enjoyed holidays with the family. He was always first in line for food at Thanksgiving (or any get-together, let’s be honest) and absolutely adored watching the little ones open gifts at Christmas.

Dale requested that his remains be spread at his childhood second home, Bull Creek.
