My mom passed away on June 12, 2024. She was preceded in death by four daughters. She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, but moved to Bonne Terre, Missouri, in October 2023. She also had a sister, Shirley, of Texas, along with two nephews and one niece: Phillip, Steven, and Lisa, all of Texas.

I’m her daughter, Rita. She lived with me from October 2023 until June 2024 when she passed away. She is survived by me, Rita Driemeier, my husband Russell Driemeier, and her granddaughter Esperanza Garcia. She also leaves behind her little dog, Bella Elaine.

She is lovingly remembered by Sherry & Jerry of Irving, Texas, and their grandchildren Robert, Jessie, Selena, Leanna, Maria, and Frank; by Rhonda & Danny of North Carolina and their children Joeshp, Elizabeth, Jordan, Sarah, and Tammy Mancilla; as well as grandchildren Tony, Erica, and Vanessa. In total, she had 13 grandchildren and around 32 great-grandchildren.

Mom, we miss you every day, but we know you are no longer in pain and are reunited with Daddy in heaven. Just know that me and Hope are taking good care of Bella Elaine. I miss talking to you so much—I really wish there was a phone in heaven. I would love to talk to you one more time and hug you just once more. Please know you are loved and missed more than words can say.
