My mom had MS and went on hospice after decades of fighting her condition. She was a warrior to the end. Mom knew that she wanted to donate her body to science. She always said that someone should get some use out of it once she was gone. The people at MedCure were very kind and compassionate when she died and made the process easier for us. Mom was an amazing, beautiful, intelligent, wonderful woman; a mother, a wife, a grandmother, a sister, a friend, a teacher, an artist, a great human being, and the world shines a little less now that she’s gone. I tried to share a picture , but the website wouldn’t let me. It’s one of her that’s one of my favorites because it showed her creativity, imagination, playfulness, and strength because she always did her best to not let her illness keep her down; she cosplayed at a contest (and won the adult category!) once as a mashup of the X-men characters Rogue and Professor X.
