Debra Hodges, a MedCure Whole Body Donor

My mom has been the most accepting of my life. She has held my hand through many struggles and believed in me when no one else did. She showed tough love at times, however her greatest gift was coming to visit me when I was young. She demonstrated to me what a mother should do for her children.

In the last months of her life I got to hold her hand into the next life. She got to heal her heart and helped my heart heal too. She didn’t stop talking about my dad the entire time. She and him divorced when I was three, but seemed to be one of her deepest regrets.

She has always been sunshine and sparkle to her grandchildren. She is sassy and absolutely can make anyone laugh! She is greatly missed and I appreciate she wanted to donate her body. Everyone was super supportive and appreciated.
