Adeana L. Black, a MedCure Whole Body Donor

My mom passed away on August 8th, 2011, after many months of illness and a hard fight. But we know now it was her time to move on to a better place. My mom was a loving and caring woman who lived her whole life doing for others and taking care of people. She was a friend, a momma, a foster parent, teacher, nurse, daughter, sister, wife, and a witness for God’s greatness! She never asked for much, but the one thing she truly wanted was to have her body donated to medical research when she passed. My mom had been ill her whole life with kidney and thyroid disease, and she felt that if her body could be used to learn “anything” to help another person live a healthier life, then she would do her share. And MedCure was the only place that I could find that was helpful, compassionate, and understanding of my momma’s wishes. My whole family was pleased with MedCure and their professionalism. The staff was more than helpful, and everything was handled with such dignity.
