Job Description
We are seeking an individual with transportation experience, preferably in transportation of human remains. The On-Call Driver will be responsible for transporting cadavers and anatomical specimens in a company vehicle. Qualified candidates must have the ability to travel distances up to 12 hours from Portland, Oregon; requiring overnight lodging. MedCure covers the expenses related to a Driver's scheduled travel. Blood borne pathogen training is provided.
This position is not an ideal second job, individuals must be available at all times. Drives typically scheduled 24 hours in advance.
Requirements
Flexible work hours. May require travel on nights and weekends
Valid and active Driver's license
Clean driving record
Vehicle maintenance knowledge and experience
Professional demeanor and appearance
Ability to safely lift up to 100 lbs without assistance
Speak English clearly and fluently
Provide excellent customer service via all instruments of communication
Classification: Part-time / On-call, hourly
